Certified NLP, leadership and mindfulness coach and public speaker Dan Gerrett runs three businesses in a disorderly fashion covering music, technology strategy and what he rather grandiosely calls Inner Science. He hosts a monthly radio show on Hoxton FM; both of his listeners are extremely satisfied.

He is in two bands, Psyfunkel - a techno pop duo, with actual live instruments, and Cable Street Collective - an afro-tropical punk electronic fusion act, where Dan's official role is to 'put a womp on it.' Dan DJs in clubs and at festivals as Dan Cat, when all the proper DJs are busy. During the period 2002 - 2009 Dan stumbled around the world as part of the DJ duo Cheshire Catz, and held residencies at major London clubs Turnmills (sadly now defunct), Ministry of Sound and Egg, as well as playing at any dive that would have them, often crawling home on Monday afternoon.

Dan is the subject of a documentary about spiritual awakening and meditation, 'Me and My Third Eye.' The trailer can be seen here on the director Jon Kwan's website. While this film is highly unlikely to be completed, Dan had a great time filming it across the UK and Spain - taking part in several ayahuasca ceremonies, often finding himself knee-deep in shaman shit. Dan's extensive writing on this subject can be found half-finished on his hard drive.

Dan suffers from pronoia - he's convinced that everyone in the universe is conspiring to help him.

'Occasionally brilliant' Simon Talbot, ex-business partner

'What do I admire about Dan? His tenacity and willpower for joy, lighthearted fun and enjoyment of living. His encouragement of others and dedication to himself as a powerful agent of change in this world. He is a master at making others laugh and feel good and has not lost the child-like magic of wonderment for the world. He approaches life with the fever of an explorer heading into enchanted lands.

He champions radical self-love and expression through freedom. He is a talented artist too, but won't tell you about it or make it part of his identity - the way he works in the studio is the way he lives his life, in a playful and free way.

He makes life more of a comedy documentary than a tragic drama, and is an inspiration and joy to know.' Elle Holgate (singer / songwriter / DJ)
